KB0010 - Invalid Page Fault Error on Windows 98 PC

The information in this articles applies to:
Diet Pro (all versions)
Windows 98

When you attempt to run Diet Pro, the following error occurs on some Windows 98 PCs (three cases reported to date):

This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.

DP caused an invalid page fault in module PBVM70.DLL.

We have not been able to reproduce this error, but it is suspected that the problem is caused by a damaged operating system component required by Diet Pro (given that Diet Pro was running successfully on the machine in question prior to the problem).

1. Reinstall Windows 98 to repair any missing or damaged operating system components. Run Setup on your Windows 98 CD. Note: This process will only repair your operating system. It will not erase your hard disk or remove any of your personal files.

Click Continue to begin reinstalling Windows 98.

Run Diet Pro.

We are awaiting feedback from the user to determine if the procedure above resolves the problem.
If you cannot find a resolution to your problem, please let us know. Please post your question or the details of your problem on the Diet Pro Support Forum.
